DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 1st \nIt’s Sleuthing Season at the Libbey House! Help us solve a puzzling “Whodunit” at this national historic landmark with a Downton Abbey theme. Eat\, drink\, and crack the caper of “Disgrace & Scandal” at the Libbey House on Saturday\, November 1st at 6:30pm in the evening! \nImmerse yourself in a real-life game of Clue and travel from room to room with a team of fellow detectives in your quest to gather evidence and solve this baffling historic murder mystery. \nThe Scene: \nThe Libbey House Foundation presents A Murder Mystery Evening.  Detectives from all over the globe gather at the Libbey Mansion to solve the murder mystery at Highclere Castle in Newbury\, UK.  The case was never solved\, the clues and leads seemed to vanish in the wind. \nYou’ve been cordially invited to the Libbey Mansion to review the clues we’ve uncovered and help us solve this mystery. \nCome dressed in Roaring 1920’s fashion or Modern 2020’s attire for a night of mystery\, food\, and fun!  There will be a prize for the best dressed in character. \nThe Details: \n     6:30pm* – 7:30pm – Drinks\, Appetizers\, & Mingling \n     7:30pm – 8:30pm – The Search for an Answer \n     8:30pm – 9:00pm – Dessert & Mystery Solved \n*Doors open at 6:15pm \nIf you are purchasing tickets separately for other people in your party\, please indicate that on your purchase to ensure your party is seated together. \nTicket Price: $30 per person through October 28th. This transformative project preserves the museum’s historic spaces while reimagining the visitor experience\, broadening the story the galleries tell\, and ensuring the museum continues to be a source of inspiration for generations. \nThe reinstallation will provide a chronological journey through art history\, guiding visitors from antiquity to the present day\, tracing the cultural connections between geographies that the current galleries understate. The new presentation will showcase a fuller breadth of human cultural creativity\, telling both a more accurate and inclusive history. \nSpace is limited to the first 50 people.
