Step inside the home of the man that shaped America’s glass history with a self-guided tour of the Libbey House!

This beautiful National Historic Landmark was once the residence of Edward Drummond Libbey, who revolutionized the glass industry between 1880 and 1925. This spectacular National Historic Landmark is opening its doors for a completely free, self-guided tour. View fascinating, historical glass industry exhibits on display throughout all three floors. Every visit helps the non-profit Libbey House Foundation preserve this grand piece of history for everyone to experience.

Toledo is known as The Glass Capital of the World and The Toledo Museum of Art, located across the street from the house, has a world-renowned glass collection as well as glass blowing demonstrations.

                   

The Libbey House offers accessible parking in the lot behind the house off Woodruff, adjacent to an accessible ramp.
