Libbey House Announces Spring Lecture

Toledo Roars into the 1920’s

 

Lecture by Ted Ligibel, Toledo Historian and history professor at Michigan State University, presents Toledo Roars into the 1920’s –  Experience a visual presentation as historian Ted Ligibel takes you down memory lane and reveals how the Roaring 20’s changed the face of Toledo. Ted will provide a visual and verbal glimpse into the places that defined the region during that era.

Space is limited to the first 50 people. Sign up soon to reserve your place.

The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 and lecture at 7:00 p.m. in the first floor parlor of the Libbey House, located in Toledo’s Historic Old West End at 2008 Scottwood.  Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

The cost of the lecture is $10, and includes the reception of wine and light appetizers prior to the talk.  Proceeds will go to the Libbey House Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey House in Toledo’s Historic Old West End.

Accessible parking for those requiring it is available at the rear of the house off Woodruff, and an accessible ramp to the front of the house is located adjacent to the parking.
